I am PublicÉmilie. I'm a visual artist with French Canadian and British roots. I enjoy creating playful and quirky illustrations, murals, illustrative games, and 2D animations. I love designing mazes and hiding secret elements; making my characters float in the air, weightless and unburdened; and crafting thick forests and starry nights.

Every pair of shoes I illustrate has either a purpose, a story, or a game. They can help you feel light and playful, motivate you to take new directions, or ground you.

I invite you to put on the shoes that speak to you the most, play with them, and embrace the message they carry.

Je me présente : PublicÉmilie, artiste visuelle aux racines québécoises et britanniques. J’aime créer des illustrations intrigantes et amusantes, des murales, des jeux illustrés et des animations 2D. Dans mes œuvres, j’adore faire des labyrinthes et dissimuler des éléments à découvrir; faire flotter mes personnages, légers et sans soucis; dessiner des forêts denses et des ciels étoilés.

Chaque paire de chaussure que j’ai illustrée a été imaginée avec une intention, une histoire ou un jeu. Elles pourraient vous aider à vous sentir plus serein et calme, vous donner l’élan pour oser prendre une nouvelle direction ou vous enraciner.

Fun in the Sun

These colorful slipper sneakers are a lot of fun. I’ve already had many compliments and inquiries about where to find shoes like them. They run a tad big, which is good for those of us who walk a lot and want to wear athletic socks with them.

These need a little breaking in at the ankle but are beautiful and just like the images. Fit is good and a midweight sock works fine.

Shipped to Spain in perfect condition. Great quality shoe, and the printing is really nice too. tone is a tiny bit different than in the pics, but still 9/10 on printing.
